I am a secondary school teacher living in sunny Queensland Australia and I am blessed to have a blended family of 5 amazing children. My husband and I have recently become empty-nesters so to help with the heartbreak of our last child leaving home, we turned his room into a library. I will think of him when I fill up my new bookcase and curl up to read on the sofa.

I am now making the most of my extra free time to read without guilt and write more, with purpose. Although mainly a fiction writer, I enjoy penning short stories and have begun trying my hand at poetry.
